Civil Structural Design Draftsman

· Designs, develops and prepares Drawings from original sketches, and drawings of major equipment layouts, structural layouts and site dimensions.
· Produces final civil & structural fabrication and erection drawings, including bills of material, on final completion/commissioning, does final “As Built” for all related documents as per site checks.
· Uses computer CAD software to draw up detailed drawings of various features based on design calculations and details prepared either by himself or concerned support Engineer. This will include site plans, civil & steel construction drawings, foundations, temporary & permanent supports, piping layouts, material take off, updates and prepare “As-Built” drawings.
· Liaises with Senior Draftsman, Support Engineers and other Divisions on drafting work requirements, to clarify and obtain informations, and extents of work requirements.
· Prepares the bills of materials related to drawings as required according to Adgas engineering specifications and standard procedures for material take off
· Checks drawings produced by other Design Draftsmen, and ensures that the quality of work produced is acceptable and in conformity with the Company’s standards, codes and practices, and that they are logical and function able.
· Carries out surveying, site measurements, layouts and routing of new pipelines, equipments, structures, and pipe supports.
· Carries out other similar or related duties assigned such as assisting in training U.A.E developees, preparing charts and reports.

Qualification:
Academic degree in Civil / Structure or equivalent, minimum 8 years experience in Civil / Structural with Gas/oil industry.
Candidates should have a thorough working knowledge in designing / updating Structural Layouts / Piping Layouts / Major Equipment Layouts Civil Structural Details and fabrication drawings, utilizing AutoCAD and GTX Raster software, preference shall be given to those who are well aware about Microstaion, & PDS.
Working knowledge in Mechanical/Equipment tagging system to identify and/or differentiate various types of line numbering and Equipment tags is also required.
Candidate should be familiar with relevant codes, standards and industry practices, SPF database update, and SAP Production module, and ability to work in a team orientated environment

Work Cycle:
5 days working on Das Island 2 days off in Abu Dhabi + 38 days Annual leave
