ROLE PURPOSE:

Executes the day to day management of the logistics at Orpic Polymer Marketing (OPM) under Supply Chain Manager scope, through the analysis and execution of international logistic plans, the organization of shipments routes in line with company/clients requirement, the effective collection and verification of export documentation, preparation of international delivery schedules and communication with clients to tracks/keeps shipping records; In order to ensure cost effectiveness and timely management using vendors for exports of carriage, and contributing with Supply Chain function with its goals.

Logistics Coordinator position will act in accordance with Orpic’ values & strategies, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives


Deliverables:

Analyses and executes logistic plans and support.
Organises all shipments in line with company requirements, as per priorities.
Execute export documentation
Prepares schedule and informing Lead Logistics for further communication strategies to all relevant departments.
Offers advice to clients on selecting optimum shipping routes.
Maintains relationships with clients and tracks/keeps shipping records.
Establishes suitable KPIs for measuring logistic performance.


Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications for this position is Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar.
Minimum years of relevant experience is 2 years in a similar role.
Knowledge of Logistics Processes and Shipping Terms.
Experience in Shipping and Transportation.

Promote robust safety services at Orpic, under Team Leader Safety scope’s; through (1) monitoring assigned area (company’s employees and contractor) for compliance with company practice code and Safety control procedures, (2) Advising & supporting plant operations, maintenance and other departments on Safety matters accordingly, and (3) providing expert training to Orpic staff in safety by promoting safe practices and safe working environment; in order to contribute with Safety department to meet its objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

HSE Plant walk-through and field OHS Inspections of PTW , PPE, OMT activities, Contractors jobs, unsafe acts, conditions, tools, equipment, hazards, Scaffoldings, Plant gas detectors and noise and submit report upon review & approval of Engineers.
Assistance to safety section team in preparing HSE campaigns, HSE inspection schedules, HSE training and any other section’s requirement.
HSE training programs such as HSEMS modules, Induction, Driving authorisation, PTW authorisation etc., for all employees and contractors under the directions of Safety Engineer.
Incident investigations (Root Cause Analysis) of all recordable incidents and near misses with high potential.
Contractors OHS Monitoring plan and holding regular contractor’s HSE meetings and inspections.
Minimizing unexpected incidents by proper implementation and monitoring of the implementation of Company’s Health and Safety measures.
Ensure the consolidation of Hazard in Operation study HAZOP, Quantitative risk analysis (QRA), ISA, emergency response procedures


Knowledge, sKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUAL’S:

Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Bachelor Degree / NEBOSH Certificate/ Diploma in Safety or similar.
Minimum years of relevant experience are 5 years as OHS Professional or Operator in the Oil and Gas industry.
Knowledge of main safety procedures
Experience in the field of managing safety aspects in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries

Responsibilities
To provide effective Reliability Management systems through extensive use of plant performance data facilitate and coordinate the division reliability improvement efforts.
Main Accountabilities
· Develop and implement a Reliability Management System to ensure a structured, consistent, multi-discipline approach to reliability and integrity improvement.
· Coordinate and facilitate RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), IPF (Instrument Protective Function) analysis to optimize equipment and system maintenance strategies.
· To enforce the implementation of Gasco Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all division and department personnel.
· Introduce Root Cause Analysis techniques and facilitate equipment failure investigations.

· In conjunction with the Section Heads in the Central Maintenance Group and the Area Maintenance Section Heads, develop a reliability, availability and integrity improvement plan.
· Participate in the development of engineering and technical solutions to improve reliability performance of systems and equipment.
· Develop and implement reporting systems and scorecards to identify ‘bad actors’ and shortfalls in equipment and system performance utilizing the MAXIMO Maintenance Management System.
· Develop and implement on the job training programmes to ensure all MAXIMO users can utilize and interrogate the database as per their job requirements.

Process Operator

Job Description:

BACKGROUND

The Operator A reports to the Shift Controller and works in liaison with the Area Senior Operator.

The Operator is responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in his assigned area, and types of equipment generally consist of all or some of the following items: Pumps, compressors, turbines, storage tanks, separators, furnaces, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves, loading arms and jetty equipment. He must also respond immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include gas leaks and fires etc. He is normally the first person to observe and react to any field equipment abnormalities.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

·To be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment in his designated area, handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.

·To regularly patrol his area and ensure that equipment is performing in the designed, safe manner and that standby spare equipment are available for immediate use if required.

·To maintain accurate and timely log data of equipment in his area, closely follow their performance and raise timely work orders for correction when required.

·To prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per PTW procedure.

·To react to plant process/safety emergencies promptly and carry out actions as laid down in procedures.

·To participate in the first intention team for managing emergencies in the plant.

·To maintain effective communication with seniors operators and supervisory staff to ensure that accurate condition of field equipment is passed on.

·To use correct chemicals and other consumables in an optimal manner to ensure cost saving.

·To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

·To understand and comply with departmental standing instruction & procedures.

·To provide instruction to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

·To check that all safety devices such as PSVs are in service and report when abnormalities occur.

·To carry out field functional tests of standby and safety/protective devices as per schedule.

Job Description:

BACKGROUND
The Mechanical Technician reports to the Mechanical Supervisor/Senior Mechanical Technician depending on his assigned Plant Division and Department. His main areas of responsibility involve the maintenance of major rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, gas compressors, turbo expanders, blowers, diesel prime movers, pumps, valves and fin fan coolers.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
·To perform and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance activities of the plant equipment, Gas Turbines and Compressors.

·To attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities such as safety requirements, permits to work, special tools and materials.

·To operate, repair and perform functional testing of tackle and lifting equipment, to the recognized standards.

·To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

·To troubleshoot, identify and isolate faulty components, on Rotating, Gas Turbine and Compressor equipment, using P&IDs, manufacturers’ manuals, drawings and diagrams.

·To identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.

·To perform shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on all rotating and static equipment, including Gas Turbines and Compressors.

·To participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery, and notify any malfunctions or defects to the immediate supervisor.

·To be a member of the Engineering Emergency & Fire Backup 24 hour roster team, for performing ship connection & disconnection and safety support duties.

·To observe operation of all equipment during routine activities for abnormalities, and report any defects to relevant Supervisor.

To provide instruction to meet Competency Base Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Job Description:

* experience in the field of supporting Real-Time Information Systems (RTIS), Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and Industrial IT applications.

* To provide technical & engineering expertise to Operating Divisions in the field of Real time Process Information and management system (RIMS), Management Information management system and other Industrial IT application such as Laboratory Information management system (LIMS), and Pipeline Inventory management system, ect.

·To identify opportunities for process performance monitoring and improvements through development / deployment of information system applications

·To rationalize and standardize the Process Information systems and integrate them for all sites

·To participate in projects such as Mass balance, production accounting and interfacing the middle process information to ERP systems.

·To monitor and audit performance of Process Information system performance including network loading, response time for client applications and ensure systems availability 24 / 7 and act as a custodian for the long-term historical process data through appropriate backup / recovery procedures in place.

·To develop system functional specifications, design & as-build documentation, user manuals, training materials for minor modifications carried out in the existing applications. Also responsible for minor medications / troubleshooting Information system Reports to meet the end-user requirements

·To co-ordinate wit the site maintenance personnel for development of Vendor support, modifications and upgrades

·To develop the Fife year business plan ant the Annual budget requirements and follow-up on project execution and progress
