ROLE
The incumbent will work independently within established procedures to achieve a professional, ethical, reliable and cost effective Purchasing service, for the complete supply chain process, through all key business processes from tender stage to purchase order award for specialised / unique goods, including working knowledge and understanding of post-order services, such as expediting, shipping and receipt of goods. In depth knowledge and experience to initiate and develop medium and long term Supply Programs and Work Scope for the supply of goods and assist in the management of Supply Chain Logistics to meet user department work programs for Company and related Expansion project activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates shall be degree qualified, ideally in an engineering related discipline, with a minimum of 7 years experience in a procurement position, preferably including experience in a supervisory / management role in the Oil and Gas Industry. You will be familiar with database materials management software as well as possess SAP knowledge and experience. In addition exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management concepts and principles under ISO 9000 Series is a must. Extensive experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers, contractors and consultants, particularly those involved in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Engineering sectors is essential. Candidates must also be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of business law and contract management Must have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of International freight terms as per latest Incoterms as well as excellent understanding of IATA, IMDG and ROAD freight terminology, including UN classifications.
