Due to continued expansion and its success in the market place, Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) is seeking to recruit qualified candidates for its shipyard in Mussafah, for the following positions:
ADSB - FRP LAMINATION FOREMEN / TECHNICIANS
Ideal candidates must have thorough knowledge of FRP boat manufacturing, FRP material usage and handling with effective communication skills in English. Responsibilities would include but not limited to: Understanding daily tasks and their scheduled completion times; Ability to read drawing and instructions; Setting up production areas effectively with production flow as priority; Manipulating cradles, molds, plugs, staging, completed parts safely and effectively; Identify building materials for specific projects and handle them accordingly; Maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times in order to avoid lamina contamination; Understanding fiber layout instructions are conforming to rigorous wet out criteria; Core bedding and vacuum bagging methods; Gel coat applications; Catalyst measurements and calculations (gel tests); Staying abreast of current material and production technologies.
